We are currently hiring an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team in Calgary. This position focuses on local, in-town deliveries supporting our Processing, Fabrication, and Galvanizing divisions.
Available Shift:
Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
What You’ll Do:
- Complete safe and efficient local steel deliveries throughout Calgary and surrounding areas
- Secure and inspect loads prior to transport
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as required
- Operate company trucks and equipment in accordance with safety regulations
- Complete delivery paperwork and daily inspections
- Coordinate with shipping, production, and customers to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle appearance
What You Bring:
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Strong knowledge of Calgary roads and industrial areas
- Steel industry experience considered an asset
- Overhead crane experience considered an asset
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
- Reliable transportation to and from work
