Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves performing a variety of carpentry tasks, assisting with general labor duties, and supporting project completion. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials according to project specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling to ensure smooth workflow
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
- Support senior carpenters with various tasks as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions for construction projects
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Prior experience in carpentry or construction labor preferred but not required; training available for motivated candidates
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is a plus
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license are advantageous but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks on the job site
Pay: $16.00-$34.00 per hour
