Accounts Payable Specialist (Entry-Level | Growth Opportunity)

We’re hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist on behalf of a major North American manufacturing company. What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be a key part of the accounts payable function, helping keep vendors paid accurately and on time:
- Respond to vendor and internal team inquiries with professional, friendly customer service.
- Verify, code, and process vendor invoices accurately while following internal controls and vendor terms.
- Route invoices for approval and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflows and accurate tracking.
- Prepare and process payments including weekly cheque/EFT runs, tax payments, and other manual payments as needed.
- Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks to support the broader finance team.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience (co-op/internships count)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines
- Approachable, team-oriented, and able to build positive relationships at all levels
- High integrity, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
