Traffic Control Technician
Our client is looking for a Traffic Control Technician to join their growing operations team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering stable year-round work in a fast-paced infrastructure and roadway environment.
The successful candidate will support traffic management and lane closure operations for road construction and maintenance projects.

Responsibilities
- Operate lane closure and traffic control vehicles safely and efficiently
- Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control configurations at active job sites
- Assist with roadway and construction site preparation activities
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on equipment
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Coordinate with crew members to support efficient project execution
- Monitor work zones to help maintain public and worker safety
- Load, transport, and handle traffic control equipment and materials

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in highway lane closure or traffic control operations
- Knowledge of traffic control setups, takedowns, and roadway safety practices
- Experience working around construction environments and heavy equipment
- Valid driver’s licence and a reliable, insured vehicle
- Valid TCP certification preferred
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 30 lbs
- Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures
- Ability to work night shifts and extended hours as needed
