Kumon Cityscape Square is seeking an experienced, reliable, and motivated Part-Time French Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about teaching and enjoys working with children in a structured learning environment.
Duties
- Teach French to elementary and junior high students following Kumon guidelines
- Support students in developing reading, writing, and comprehension skills
- Provide individualized instruction and guidance based on each student’s level
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and centre staff
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and organized classroom environment
- Assist with grading, record-keeping, and lesson preparation as required
Skills
- Prior experience teaching French (formal or informal teaching experience preferred)
- Strong command of the French language (spoken and written)
- Experience working with children is required
- Patient, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and follow Kumon instructional methods
Work Schedule
- Part-time position
- Evening and/or weekend availability may be required
- Hours will be discussed during the interview
