Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting with a focus on quality and efficiency. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Dust, wipe down surfaces, and sanitize high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly to maintain hygiene standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient cleaning operations
Skills
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Good time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled shifts
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions carefully
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift light loads, and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues
