Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our dedicated USA Team. This position involves transporting freight across long distances, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining safety and compliance standards. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty trucks safely across long-haul routes within the United States.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight documentation, and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company regulations governing commercial transportation.
- Assist with freight handling, including securing loads and ensuring proper weight distribution.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for long-haul driving.
- Experience operating freight trucks and heavy equipment such as forklifts.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and perform basic automotive repairs when necessary.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and reliability.
- Physical ability to load/unload freight, lift heavy objects, and perform vehicle inspections.
- Prior experience in automotive repair or heavy equipment operation is a plus but not required.
