Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and strong customer service skills are essential. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and processing
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the food industry
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Basic math skills for bill calculation, cash handling, and upselling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality setting while maintaining professionalism
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, food preparation, and sanitation standards
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and guests seamlessly
