Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nanny/Housekeeper to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, and possess the skills necessary to educate, engage, and support their development. This role involves not only caregiving but also housekeeping, meal /snack preparation for the children and maintaining a clean and safe environment for the children.
Responsibilities
- Complete care and supervision of children in a safe, creative, and nurturing environment.
- Supervise and engage with children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development. Teach good manners and appropriate social behaviors.
- Provide educational support through interactive play, reading, and other games and activities.
- Assist children with daily routines, including dressing, bathing, and meal times.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Organize and participate in various activities at home and outdoor. Attend appointments, activities, and classes.
- Maintain a clean and organized space for the children, including tidying up after activities and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Live-in /overnight care as needed
- Housekeeping - including laundry, vacuum, clean & organize kid's room, beddings, and other house chores as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children as well as housekeeping is essential
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment.
- Proficiency in meal preparation and cooking healthy meals for children.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness in the home while caring for children.
- A nurturing attitude combined with patience, creativity, and flexibility in approach.
