Coast Mountain College (CMTN) invites applications for an Instructor(s) for the Cook’s Helper Program as outlined below. Salary will be in accordance with the BCGEU Instructor salary scale ($37.55 - $53.80 per hour). While this position is based in Terrace, the instructor will be required to travel to Hazelton to deliver the course.

Duties: The Instructor will facilitate learning in the theoretical techniques and skills of the Cook’s Helper Program in a community setting with a mixed class of adult learners. This includes course preparation, teaching and guiding students, providing feedback, correction, encouragement, and direction. In addition, the instructor will oversee and ensure site safety, complete the related administrative, record keeping and monitoring activities as well as other related duties as required. The curriculum of this program is based on the National Occupational Standards for Line Cook and Kitchen Helper positions.
