Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service
- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, including conducting product demos when necessary
- Engage in upselling to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a helpful and professional demeanor
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive and organized product presentations
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, store policies, and product features
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Ensure the sales floor is organized, clean, and well-stocked at all times
- Support inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and product organization
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers during busy periods
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Previous experience in retail sales, technology sales, or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling procedures
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude and phone etiquette skills
- Ability to demonstrate products effectively through product demos and technical explanations
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed; prior experience with upselling techniques is advantageous
