We are a busy, fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare clinic located in the Yonge & Steeles area, offering a range of services including Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Family Medicine, and Osteopathy. We also provide braces, compression stockings, and other rehabilitation-related products to help our patients achieve better health and mobility.
We are looking for a high-energy, motivated, and sales-oriented Medical Receptionist / Patient Care & Sales Coordinator who can thrive in a busy clinic environment and become an important ambassador for our business.
This is more than a traditional front-desk position. We are looking for someone who understands consultative selling—someone who can listen to patients, understand their needs, identify appropriate solutions, and confidently recommend additional services or products that genuinely benefit the patient.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a private Physiotherapy, rehabilitation, chiropractic, osteopathic, or multidisciplinary healthcare clinic and will understand the importance of combining excellent patient service with business growth.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the front desk and providing an exceptional patient experience while also helping the clinic grow.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and creating a warm, professional, and positive first impression
- Answering phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
- Booking, confirming, and managing appointments
- Registering new patients and maintaining accurate patient information
- Managing busy front-desk operations in a fast-paced environment
- Processing payments and handling private insurance and extended health benefit billing
- Understanding patients' needs and helping them identify appropriate treatment options
- Using consultative selling techniques to recommend relevant services and products
- Identifying opportunities to introduce patients to other services available within the clinic, including Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Family Medicine, and Osteopathy
- Promoting and selling rehabilitation products, including braces and compression stockings
- Following up with patients and helping improve patient retention and rebooking
- Providing solutions to patient concerns and helping resolve issues professionally
- Supporting the clinic's sales and growth objectives
- Working closely with therapists, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintaining a clean, organized, efficient, and welcoming reception area
- Performing basic administrative and computer-related tasks

Preferred Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, Clinic Receptionist, Patient Care Coordinator, or Front Desk Coordinator
- Experience working in a private Physiotherapy or rehabilitation clinic
- Experience with private healthcare billing and extended health insurance
- Experience with clinic EMR or scheduling systems
- Basic computer and IT skills
- Experience with sales, upselling, or consultative selling
- Experience recommending or selling braces, compression stockings, orthotics, or other rehabilitation products
- Experience working in a busy multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
