What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Robotics and Coding Coach; an energetic individual with an engaging personality who believes in our philosophy of learning and innovating in a fun environment. Our coaches are the lifeblood of our operation. You will join our team of coaches to teach robotics based on our proven curriculum.
Are you a technology teacher or do you have experience working with children? Do you enjoy teaching and building problem solving skills in young engineering minds? Willing to learn our proven curriculum? This could be the role for you.
Requirements
· Excellent oral communication.
· Up beat, positive, energetic and works Independently.
· Experience working with children age 6 to 17.
· Skilled at building mechanical contraptions creatively.
· Experience in programming languages a plus.
· Experience in science, technology and/or math will be preferred.
· Knowledge in building and programming LEGO robots a plus but not required.
· Good listener and strong influencer.
· Ability to inspire and lead others.
. Weekly hours between 12-15 per week, with more hours during summer camps
· Pre-employment background check is required.
Responsibilities include:
· Teach robotics based on our proven curriculum.
· Create a positive and safe environment where innovation is encouraged.
· Track student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00 per hour
