Duties
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal.
Skills
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with knowledge of the food industry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or food service is highly valued.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Barista experience is a plus for establishments serving coffee or specialty beverages.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance guest interactions.
