A well-established and reputable employer is looking to add an Experienced and knowledgeable Heavy Transport Red Seal Mechanic to help build out their own team in Winnipeg. If you are ready to take on more responsibility as a working Shop Foreman and would like to hire and train technicians while leading by example then reach out.
Technicians will be responsible for performing inspections, services, and repairs on Heavy-Duty Trucks, ensuring that all equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Some work will be needed on some Heavy Equipment as well.
Qualifications:
- At least 5+ years of Heavy-Duty Diesel Truck repair experience
- Strong preference for technicians with On-road Red Seal
- Strong electrical and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with diagnostic software
- Experience with Mac Trucks and Cat equipment considered an asset
- Transmission work and knowledge of ABS Systems
- Proficiency in troubleshooting diesel engines and related systems.
- Previous experience and/or working knowledge of DOT inspections
- A Class 1 CDL is preferred, but not required
- Own tools, valid driver's license, and clean driving record
Compensation
- $45.00 - $60.00/hour, depending on previous experience and training.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday, Day Shift
- Flexible start times between 5:00AM and 11:00AM
- Ample opportunities for 10 or more hours of OT per week
