Alexander Safety and Environmental currently has openings to join our team out of our LEDUC Alberta and Whitecourt offices.

Responsibilities
· The ability to support Operator in a safe and professional manner.
· Must be physically able to perform tasks and work in all weather conditions.
· Assist with daily documents, such as, work orders, logbooks, field level hazard assessments, pre/post trip inspections.
· Assist with daily maintenance and general housekeeping on units.
· Follow instructions assigned by supervisor and /or Operator.
· Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity.
· Able to accept after hour calls in emergency situations.
· Ensure client satisfaction by always providing excellent customer service.
· Follow company HSE policies and procedures.
· Support crew members on the proper techniques and skills to be used.
· Must be willing to support in other areas of Alexander Safety service offerings when not supporting Hydrovac operations.
Qualifications
· 2 years of relevant experience as a Hydrovac Swamper. (May be willing to train the right candidate)
· Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract.
· Valid industry safety tickets, including but not limited to: H2S, First Aid, Ground Disturbance Level 2, CSTS 2020, CSO, WHMIS, TDG and Fall Arrest.
· Willingness to work overtime, weekends, out of town and emergency callouts as required.
· Reliability and consistent attendance are imperative to this position.
· Ability to follow direction with minimal supervision.
· A reliable means of transportation is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
