Full-Time Cleaner
Location: 2 buildings Kitchener
Position Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of a residential portfolio consisting of one mid-rise apartment building and one three-storey walk-up building.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, laundry rooms.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces.
- Clean glass, doors, and windows in common areas.
- Remove garbage and recycling and maintain waste collection areas.
- Assist with suite cleaning and preparation between tenancies as required.
- Monitor building cleaning supplies and advise management when inventory is low.
- Ensure grounds and exterior entrances are kept clean and presentable.
- Assist with seasonal duties such as snow clearing, salting, and litter pickup when required.
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties throughout the day.
- Reliable transportation is considered an asset.
- WHMIS knowledge is an asset.
