Job Overview
We are seeking experienced DZ & AZ Drivers to join our team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently across various routes. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy equipment and freight logistics. Responsibilities
- Safely operate DZ & AZ licensed commercial vehicles to transport freight over short and long distances
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation
- Assist with vehicle maintenance or minor repairs when necessary, leveraging automotive repair skills
- Coordinate with dispatchers and warehouse staff to ensure timely deliveries and pickupsQualifications
- Valid DZ or AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields
- Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely (certification preferred)
- Knowledge of automotive repair or basic vehicle maintenance is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation purposes
- Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures diligently
- Physical ability to handle freight loading/unloading tasks and operate heavy equipment as required
This role is vital for ensuring the smooth flow of freight logistics while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
