Civil Superintendent - Civil, Earthworks & Underground Utilities
- The successful candidate will have experience delivering civil construction projects. This position is located in the beautiful Comox Valley, BC. This position is a key leadership role within our company. We will provide a competitive salary, a company pick-up, RRSP matching and much, much more.
- You must have a strong understanding of Civil Construction. Must be a strong communicator and able to engage a team as a leader. Must also be able to take direction.

- Work out of a brand new shop and office built to house our growing team.
- Responsibilities:
- Supervises construction workforce and oversees on-site construction activities to construct the project effectively, safely and within budget.
- Develop and maintain open communication with crews, trades, project team and clients to ensure project performance, safety and quality requirements are met.
- Play a large part in daily / weekly / monthly scheduling to determine manpower levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements.
- Must complete paperwork accurately each and every day.
- Ensure that our promise to our clients to provide a high-quality product is never compromised.
- Strong troubleshooting skill set with the ability to resolve challenges on-site
- Understand job costing and forecasting costs to form a basis of decision on critical project tasks
- Understand contracts to recognize scope change and associated responsibilities
- Follow our COR Certified Safety program and maintain all safety documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications:
- Expert understanding of construction industry including: cost management project planning and scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of safety and environmental procedures and legislation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office not scared away by project software or apps.
- This is a hands on role, this is not a sit in your pick-up position.

Pay: $95,000.00-$136,540.00 per year
