SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent interpersonal skills, with a genuine and friendly demeanour. You’re friendly, approachable, and enjoy interacting with guests

Comfortably initiate conversations and interactions with guests, exuding warmth and confidence in every interaction.

Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail

Exhibit excellent communication abilities, whether conveying information effectively or actively listening and responding to team members and guests.

Comfortable working with cash and maintaining balanced cash floats

Ability to calmly handle guest concerns or manage difficult situations, including de-escalating conflicts when needed

Familiarity with reservation systems and guest lists is an asset

Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is advantageous Customer service or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required

Must possess valid SmartServe certification or be willing to obtain prior to first shift.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable

Provide preloaded game cards and process payments for merchandise purchases

Verify IDs for legal drinking age and manage coat check operations

Maintain an organized and presentable coat check area for guests

Collaborate with management and arcade staff to ensure a seamless guest experience

Understand and manage reservations and guest lists effectively

Keep cash floats balanced and maintain a clean work station

Bid guests a pleasant farewell as they depart

Assist with upkeep of merchandise inventory
AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS

This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Typical shifts range between 4–8 hours and extend into late night hours.
