High School Educational Assistant – Specialized/Congregated Program
Location: Lindsay Thurber High School
32 hours weekly
Commencing August 24, 2026
High School Educational Assistant to support students within a specialized/congregated program setting. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team to provide academic, social, and behavioural support to students in a specialized program environment.
Desirable qualifications and attributes:
- Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent education is an asset

Comfortable with both specialized and inclusive programs
- Experience or training in supporting children with diverse and complex needs and potentially aggressive behaviours is preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to creating a positive learning environment
- Able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable assisting students with personal care needs, including toileting and lifting as required
