Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and have experience in HVAC systems, plumbing, and appliance repair. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will work closely with clients to ensure their systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, and boilers.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs on HVAC equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of heating and cooling systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to HVAC installations.
- Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical to complete installations or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for each job.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and providing solutions in a timely manner.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, maintenance, and appliance repair.
- Familiarity with construction practices and the ability to read schematics is an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
