Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated individual for the entry level position of Logistics/Customs Coordinator. "This position is for our Ayr office location. Please only apply if you are interested in moving to Cambridge area or residing there"
Job description As a Logistics/Customs Coordinator, your role within the company will be to add overall customer service value to our transportation management clients through various responsibilities that may include but are not limited to order entry, shipment tracking, documenting shipment exceptions, and invoice entry.
To be successful you need to have the desire to grow within the position and our organization, serving the client above all else, and understanding the value of a team to win, and never be satisfied until our client is assured that we have gone above and beyond for them.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate pickup & delivery of scheduled shipments.
· Generate accurate freight invoices using bills of lading (BOL) and proof of delivery (POD) documents.
· Review vendor and carrier freight bills for correct rates, fuel surcharges, and accessorial fees like wait times or detention.
· Keep records of incoming payments and follow up on late accounts.
· Clear verbal and written skills to answer client billing questions
· Investigate and fix billing errors, rate differences, and customer or carrier complaints.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Good overall Computer knowledge.
· Maintain electronic and paper records ensuring information is organized and easily accessible.
· Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
