RSS Inc. is hiring for OS&D Clerk for their leading logistics client in Mississauga. This job requires Logistics/OS&D experience with strong Communication, Customer Service, Coordination, managing overage, shortage and damage freight issues and attention to detail skills.
This job requires working Onsite at client's office in Mississauga, ON
Specific Duties:
- Research and identify problem freight including overage, shortages, damages, etc.
- Contacting the customers to resolve issues
- Performing daily OS&D audits
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders for missing paperwork or freight
- Work closely with customer care, dispatch, operations and docks to ensure timely movement of freight
- Communicate with management on freight dispositions for returns, damages, and storage charges
- Looking after daily reports, negotiate and settle claims
- Interact with both internal and external customers
- Request documentation and information needed from carriers to resolve claims, or letters of denial
- Answer OS&D calls from internal and external clients
- Dealing with customers to discuss and resolve OS&D related issues
- Handling claims, issue notices of undeliverable freight
- Work with the operations and dock to resolve issue
- Report to customers on issues with packaging
- Delivering orders into the system
- Research all OS&D’s problems
- Research and follow-up on customer problems and respond to questions
- Coordinating between the office and dock
- Other office administrative assignments as required

Requirements
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience working in OS&D department in logistics company
- Strong attention to details, numerical skills
- Previous experience in warehouse clerical, OS&D and administrative role would be an asset
- Strong communication in English and customer service skills
- Strong Computer skills including MS Office Suite and good typing skills.
- Strong Communication, organizational, numerical and attention to detail skills
- Safety shoes with steel toe
