Description:
Garrison Brewing is expanding their flagship Seaport Taproom and adding a café and kitchen. We are looking for a part-time Line Cook to join our team with hours from 28-38 per week.
If you would like to be part of a busy, new kitchen where you can make your mark, work through the rush with a calm and optimistic attitude, and take pride in what you do, then we want you! We offer a competitive pay based on experience plus other perks.
Key Responsibilities:
· Cooking dishes to specifications.
· Preparing food items by cutting, chopping, mixing and other prepping tasks.
· Ability to follow NS Food Safety Regulations
· Responsible to maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
Qualifications:
Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly.
Food Safety Certificate is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is important.
Must be authorized to legally work in Canada.
