Job Summary
As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and presenting delicious meals that delight our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to meet service expectations during busy periods
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is advantageous but not required
- Proven restaurant or kitchen experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
