Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Bartender and Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and accommodating special requests
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, including basic kitchen tasks and food handling
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Follow all sanitation procedures to uphold health standards in food industry operations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Able to work at night in the bar
- Confident in working alone
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards is desirable
- Basic math skills for billing, change calculation, and upselling techniques
- Experience in food handling, serving, or kitchen operations is advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
