Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Landscaper/Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about outdoor work, skilled in landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture, and capable of performing a variety of tasks to create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces. Duties
- Use hand tools and power tools to plant, prune, mow, and maintain lawns, shrubs, trees, and flower beds
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, mulching, fertilizing, and aerating
- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
- Assist with planting new landscape features including flowers, bushes, and trees
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing debris and ensuring safety standards are met
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Monitor plant health and identify issues related to pests or disease for timely intervention
Qualifications
- Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping work
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic horticultural practices is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation is preferred for job site access
