What Your Week Looks Like
This hybrid role balances hands-on education, logistical organization, and proactive relationship building. Your time is dynamically shared across four core areas:
Leading & Teaching STEAM Programs: The primary focus of your role is face-to-face interaction. You will be in the classroom delivering curriculum-guided activities, managing classrooms, and bringing high-energy fun to afterschool enrichments and weekend birthday parties.
Operations & Material Management: A significant behind-the-scenes component of this position relies on your organizational skills. You will be responsible for handling, inventorying, and meticulously prepping the LEGO® and STEAM kits to ensure everything is ready for a seamless experience.
Business Development & Outreach: To keep our programs expanding, you will dedicate flexible windows to actively researching and seeking out new business opportunities throughout Fredericton, identifying schools and organizations that would benefit from our programs.
Strategic Partner Meetings: You will act as the professional face of the brand by coordinating and conducting high-impact meetings with high-potential clients, school principals, and community directors to pitch our curriculum and lock in multi-week contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Premium Instruction: Lead groups of up to 20 students (ages 5–12) through hands-on STEM activities, ensuring a safe, positive, and highly engaging environment.
Manage Program Logistics:** Handle, organize, and transport class kits and learning materials. Ensure all equipment is clean, accounted for, and perfectly prepared before every event.
Drive Local Pipeline: Proactively seek out new leads and introduce Snapology’s enrichment programs to Fredericton schools, parent committees, and community groups.
Secure High-Potential Accounts: Schedule and lead brief professional pitches to educational stakeholders and community directors to finalize program agreements and trigger your performance bonuses.
Qualifications & Requirements
The Right Fit:This role is ideal for an articulate, organized self-starter with an existing full-time career (Education, Sales, Management, Business owner or Corporate) looking for a rewarding, performance-driven side gig.
Experience: 5+ years of experience working with children in a classroom, camp, or recreational environment (Required).
Vetting: Must possess (or be willing to immediately obtain) a current **Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening** (Required).
Relationship Builder:Strong oral and written communication skills; entirely comfortable presenting ideas to school principals as well as chatting with excited parents.
Mobility:A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle to safely transport program kits across the Fredericton area

Schedule
* Afterschool availability (approx. 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM) on select weekdays

Salary & Compensation Structure
Base Rate:** $23.00 per hour
Earning Potential: $30.00 – $35.00+ per hour (Base + Commission)

> * **Guaranteed Base ($23.00/hr):** You are fully paid this premium rate for all instructional time, classroom teaching, curriculum review, and material/kit handling.
> * **Partnership Commission ($100 - $150 per contract):** For the flexible hours you spend researching local leads and meeting with high-potential partners (principals, community directors), you will earn a direct financial bonus for every multi-week program or camp contract you successfully secure.
