Position: Consulting Registered Dietitian
Start Date: July 1st, 2026
Hours: 20 hours per week (80 hours per month)

Key Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document residents’ nutritional and hydration status.
- Develop, evaluate, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans for residents.
- Provide counselling and education to residents, and monitor high risk residents.
- Review and approve menus, including therapeutic and texture-modified diets and seasonal menus.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Deliver in-service education to staff.
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian eligible for membership with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
- Experience in a long-term care setting is an asset.
- Knowledge of interRAI and PointClickCare is preferred.
- Must hold professional liability insurance.
- Must have at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
- Must have a TB test and Vulnerable Sector Check issued within the past six months.
