Overview
We are seeking a friendly, motivated Sales Assistant / Cashier (Full-Time or Part-Time) to join our dynamic retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and supporting merchandising efforts. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and eager to assist customers with their needs while promoting products effectively. Bilingual skills and experience in technology or retail sales are highly valued to enhance the shopping experience for diverse clientele.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and purchases
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and credit transactions
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage cashiering responsibilities including processing payments, issuing receipts, and handling returns
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and attractive
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and product organization
- Uphold store cleanliness and adhere to safety standards during all operations
- Assist in ringing up sales efficiently during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude
Skills
- Multilingual abilities are a strong plus for serving diverse customers effectively
- Experience in retail sales, POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling is preferred
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with product demos enhances customer engagement
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for accurate cash transactions and sales calculations
- Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor and problem-solving abilities
- Time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during shifts
- Upselling techniques to promote additional products or services effectively

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
