Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor cooking processes, adjust temperatures, and timing to produce perfectly cooked dishes
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and efficient workflow during busy periods
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining proper storage practices
- Support the team in plating dishes attractively and efficiently, ensuring presentation meets brand standards
Experience
- Prior food service experience in a restaurant or similar setting is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Proven experience in cooking, meal preparation, and food handling within a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment
- Experience working with serving staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders is advantageous
