Lions Gate Pool & Spa is hiring a full-time, experienced Swimming Pool & Hot Tub Repair Technician to service residential and commercial properties throughout Vancouver and the North Shore.
This position is ideal for a highly technical, solutions-focused professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment issues, identifying the root cause of failures, and planning the right long-term repair—not simply replacing parts.

Responsibilities:
- Assess swimming pool and hot tub equipment, plumbing, and operating systems
- Diagnose equipment failures and identify the root cause of each issue
- Develop a clear and practical repair plan
- Identify and source the required parts and materials
- Prepare detailed repair quotations
- Complete approved repairs, replacements, and equipment installations
- Service pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, sanitization systems, and related components
- Identify any plumbing or electrical adjustments required to complete the repair
- Take ownership of repairs from the initial assessment through to completion
- Communicate professionally with clients
- Maintain clear service notes, photos, and repair documentation
- Manage the tools, parts, and inventory carried in the company vehicle
- Provide dependable, high-quality service at residential and commercial properties
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of experience repairing swimming pool and hot tub equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Experience with equipment installation, plumbing, and repair work
- Ability to independently assess problems and plan effective repairs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable preparing and emailing quotations
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently
- Professional attitude and strong attention to detail
Additional training and ongoing certifications can be provided; however, applicants must already have a minimum of three years of relevant equipment repair experience to qualify.
