Tile Setter
Location: Red Deer & Central Alberta

We are seeking an experienced Tile Setter to join our team working on residential renovations, insurance restoration projects, commercial tenant improvements, and new construction projects throughout Red Deer and Central Alberta.

Responsibilities
- Prepare floors, walls, and other surfaces for tile installation.
- Install ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, mosaic, and large-format tile.
- Measure, plan layouts, and perform precise tile cutting and fitting.
- Install waterproofing systems and moisture protection assemblies as required.
- Complete grouting, sealing, and finishing work to a high standard.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Coordinate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and other trades.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications.
QualificationsRequired Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional tile installation experience.
- Experience in residential renovations, commercial construction, insurance restoration, or new construction projects.
- Proven experience installing ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, and large-format tile.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Strong understanding of tile layouts, waterproofing systems, and finishing techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Requirements
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to project sites throughout Red Deer and Central Alberta.
- Possess the basic hand tools required for the trade.
- CSA-approved safety footwear and required PPE.
- Ability to safely perform physical duties including kneeling, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and site procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
