Jane’s Dumplings is a locally owned restaurant in Charlottetown specializing in authentic handmade Chinese cuisine. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team.
Responsibilities
· Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes
· Assist with traditional food preparation, including handmade dumplings and specialty noodles
· Maintain food quality, consistency, and kitchen cleanliness
· Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
· Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
· Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset, but training can be provided for motivated candidates
· Interest in authentic Chinese-style cooking and traditional food preparation is considered an asset
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and busy seasonal periods
· Reliable attendance and commitment to scheduled shifts are important
· Ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin is considered an asset for team coordination and customer service
· Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

· On-site restaurant environment
· Fast-paced kitchen environment
· Standing for extended periods
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
