As a Security Guard, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment across various client sites. Your responsibilities include monitoring premises through surveillance systems, controlling access points, and responding promptly to incidents. Your proactive approach will help prevent loss, deter unauthorized activity, and ensure the safety of personnel and property.
Duties
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to oversee activity within designated areas and identify suspicious behavior
- Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by verifying credentials and issuing passes
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect potential security breaches or safety hazards
- Respond swiftly to alarms or incidents, including coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
- Perform loss prevention measures by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting findings accurately
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks in accordance with company protocols
- Enforce security policies and procedures consistently to uphold safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable
- Strong surveillance skills with familiarity using CCTV systems for monitoring large areas
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to minimize theft and property damage
- Ability to remain alert, vigilant, and professional during long shifts
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and the public
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as needed
- Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations (if applicable)
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
