We are seeking a skilled and dependable Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various construction, maintenance, and installation projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. The Labourer will play a vital part in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment at job sites
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up necessary tools and supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople by carrying out tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery safely and correctly under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents
- Assist in the assembly, installation, or repair of structures as directed
- Perform general labor tasks including digging trenches, mixing concrete, or other site-specific duties
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction, maintenance, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety procedures and practices
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential
- Basic knowledge of tools and machinery is advantageous but training will be provided
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project needs
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
