We are looking for someone who is:
- Proactive & Observant: You naturally notice what needs to be done next and take care of it without needing constant direction.
- Reliable & Professional: You are punctual, consistent, and take ownership of your tasks.
- Ready for the Summer Rush: You can stay calm, focused, and efficient when the cafe gets busy during the peak summer season.
- Available on Weekends: You have flexible availability and are able to work weekend shifts. (at least every other Sunday)
- A Great Team Player: You bring positive energy and communicate clearly and kindly with both customers and teammates.
This role may NOT be a good fit if:
- You struggle with punctuality or consistent attendance.
- You easily get overwhelmed in a fast-paced environment.
- You are not available to work on weekends.
- You require visa/work permit sponsorship for permanent residency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Prep & Cooking: Assisting with food preparation and light cooking/baking.
- Beverage Making: Preparing and serving coffee and other drinks.
- Customer Service: Welcoming customers, taking orders, and providing friendly service at the counter.
- Shop Maintenance: Keeping the cafe clean, organized, and welcoming.
