Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Service and Installation Technician to join our team. This role involves providing technical support, installing equipment, and ensuring optimal operation of systems across client sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer aptitude, technical knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional service and maintain customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot various technical systems, including computer hardware, networking equipment, and low voltage systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately install and service complex systems.
- Use hand tools and other mechanical tools to assemble, adjust, or repair components.
- Diagnose issues related to computer networking, hardware, or low voltage wiring and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct system testing to verify proper functionality after installation or maintenance.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation and maintenance procedures.
- Document service activities, system configurations, and repair details accurately in company records.
Requirements
- Proven experience with computer networking, computer hardware, and schematics interpretation.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring systems and electrical safety protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing issues in hardware, networking, or mechanical components.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work independently in various environments while adhering to safety standards.
- Prior experience in system installation or maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided as needed.
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
