JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Superintendent, and in coordination with the Director of Communications, the Executive Assistant, Marketing & Strategic Engagement provides high-level administrative support while leading the planning and delivery of marketing and engagement strategies that promote EIPS as a division of choice.
This dual-function role also will support the Superintendent through the coordination of key events and leadership initiatives, while also advancing divisional priorities through targeted marketing and expanded storytelling.
Executive & Administrative Support
Provide confidential, high-level administrative support to the Superintendent.
Coordinate schedule, and prepare materials for meetings, presentations, and events.
Prepare correspondence, reports, and documentation on behalf of the Superintendent.
Strategic Engagement & Event Coordination

Plan and coordinate:
- Community and stakeholder engagement events aligned with divisional priorities
- Leadership team meetings and divisional planning sessions
- Develop event plans, prepare materials, and ensure seamless execution of high-profile marketing and promotion activities.

Support relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders, including families, community partners, and government representatives.
Marketing & Program Promotion
Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to promote EIPS as a division of choice, with increased focus on alternative and specialized programs.
Working with Communication Services to coordinate advertising, branding and promotional campaigns aligned with EIPS priorities.
Support program recruitment initiatives, including open houses and outreach events.
Create high-quality content for websites, social media, newsletters and other promotional avenues.
Education

Degree in business or in a related area (preferred)
Minimum required:

Certificate or Diploma in office management, business administration, or related equivalency
- High School Diploma with related experience
Experience

5+ years executive administration experience

Communications, marketing, or public relations roles

Experience working within a school division or public sector

Basic accounting experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge and understanding of strategic marketing plans and execution thereof
Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in editing and content development.
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex events and initiatives.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication tools.
Experience with social media platforms, website content management, and design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe).
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
