Job Summary:
As the Experienced Accounting Clerk/Deal Poster, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial transactions and ensuring accurate processing of dealership vehicle sales. The main duties in this position is post and reconcile new, used, fleet and wholesale vehicle sales into our accounting system and review accounting schedules for discrepancies . This job also requires the ideal candidate to have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Vehicle Sale Posting Responsibilities:
- Accurately post new, used, wholesale and fleet vehicle sales into the dealership’s accounting system.
- Review related accounting schedules and process necessary adjustments.
- Maintain organized records of all transactions and correspondence.
- Ensure all deal documents are complete and comply with dealership policies and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to verify deal details and resolve any issues.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Key General Accounting Responsibilities:
- Investigate accounting discrepancies and prepare journal entry adjustments
- Review and prepare vehicle sales related cheque requests

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma supplemented by an accounting certificate or diploma
- Minimum two (2) years of relative experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, preferably in an automotive dealership setting.
- Knowledge of CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds or PBS software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Hours of Work: Full-Time; Monday – Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
