Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills, be attentive to detail, and demonstrate excellent time management and food safety practices. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling protocols are followed at all times
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests courteously and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and bar areas in compliance with health regulations
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Assist in setting up the bar area for service and closing duties as needed
- Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage options to enhance guest experience
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs gracefully
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours
