We have an immediate opening for various IRONWORKERS- Foremen, Welders, and Erectors.

We are seeking long-term, ambitious individuals to join our team in erecting structural and miscellaneous steel in commercial and residential buildings. The majority of the work is in Calgary and surrounding urban areas.
Job Duties include but not limited to:
· Welding structural and miscellaneous carbon steel using SMAW or FCAW - all positions
· Erecting structural and miscellaneous steel on construction sites
· Reading, understanding, and following instruction drawings and weld procedures
· Reading blueprints and specifications to lay out work and perform fitting tasks
· Using lasers and layout techniques on buildings
· Attaching steel to concrete with hammer drills
· Lifting steel into place with chain falls, tower and mobile cranes
· Welding steel in place to embedded steel
· Working at heights as required
· Offloading, sorting and preparing structural steel for erection
Requirements
- Minimum 2-year experience in structural ironworking experience
- Journeyman or apprentice ironworkers, or unticketed workers with equivalent experience
- Valid CWB SMAW all positions ticket
- Minimum 2 years’ SMAW welding experience on structural steel projects
- Experience with commercial projects is an asset
- Reliable and willing to work as a team with others
- Holds a valid driver’s license with a vehicle
- Regards safety as the number one priority
- Fall Protection, Scissor/Boom lift experience
