We are a fast-paced catering and food production company looking to hire a Part-time, Temporary Dishwasher to join our team immediately. This is a physically active role that is essential to keeping kitchen operations running smoothly during a very busy production season.
***Please note this role is temporary until early July. The schedule is Friday to Sundays only. Shifts will start as early as 6am***
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, trays, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Keep dishwashing and prep areas clean and organized
- Take out garbage and recycling as needed
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors
- Support kitchen staff with cleaning and general cleaning tasks
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist during large catering production days and events
Requirements
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Previous kitchen or dishwasher experience is an asset, but not required
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Flexible availability, including early mornings and weekends if needed
