We are looking for a Senior Security Operations (SecOps) Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. The selected candidate will play a key role in protecting our systems, networks, and data by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents.
As a senior team member, you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of detection and response capabilities while acting as a technical expert in vulnerability management and incident investigation.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze security alerts (SIEM, EDR, etc.)
Investigate security incidents and identify root causes
Coordinate response and remediation activities
Manage and optimize vulnerability management processes (e.g., Qualys)
Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and business context
Collaborate with IT teams for remediation efforts
Develop automation (scripts, playbooks, APIs)
Improve detection mechanisms and reduce false positives
Maintain thorough documentation of incidents and processes
Technical Skills & Requirements
Strong understanding of security fundamentals (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability)
Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and vulnerability tools (Qualys strongly preferred)
Expertise in incident analysis (log correlation, investigation)
Risk-based vulnerability and patch management
Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls)
Cloud knowledge (Azure – basic level)
Automation skills (PowerShell, Python) and API integration
SOAR experience (asset)
