The Role
We're hiring a Low Voltage Technician to handle installation, termination, and commissioning of structured cabling and AV and security systems in the field. You'll work across a variety of client sites, often as the on-site lead for smaller jobs, and you'll be trusted to make sound calls without someone looking over your shoulder.
What You'll Do
- Pull, terminate, and test structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A, fiber, coax)
- Install and rack-mount AV, networking, security and surveillance equipment
- Mount displays, speakers, cameras, access points, and control hardware
- Read and work from floor plans, riser diagrams, and rack elevations
- Troubleshoot and certify cabling and connectivity issues on site
- Coordinate with project leads, other trades, and clients in a professional manner
- Keep accurate as-built documentation and labeling
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of hands-on low voltage / structured cabling experience
- Confident terminating and testing copper
- Familiarity with AV, IP networking, and surveillance/CCTV systems
- Comfortable reading technical drawings and working independently
- Valid Ontario driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders/lifts, and handle the physical side of the job
- Strong communication skills and a presentable, customer-facing demeanor
Nice to Have
- Industry related - manufacturer training/certifications
- Experience with access control, CCTV and security system installs
- Fluke certification testing experience
- Ontario ECRA/ESA or relevant electrical exposure

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
