We are a medium-sized Masonry and Stone subcontracting company, located in the lower mainland, and are seeking a highly motivated, committed and organized Intermediate/Senior Project Manager to participate in our fast-paced environment.
Our company undertakes numerous projects of approximately $2 Million in value, including a large amount of repeat business and we pride ourselves on retaining long term relationships with our clients.
The successful candidate should have a working understanding of the masonry and stone trade disciplines, and of building envelope construction concepts. We require someone with strong communication and problem solving abilities and extremely detail oriented.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct projects from contract award to closeout documentation;
- Analyze and review project contracts;
- Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, suppliers, and other relevant parties to obtain information, manage issues and conflicts, and meet project timelines;
- Coordinate and provide direction to our company installers and subcontractors;
- Manage and execute RFI’s, SI’s, CCO’s, and CO’s.
- Execute and track material purchase orders;
- Evaluate and report on progress of projects;
- Review and maintain the client and supplier data bases;
-Purchasing materials from suppliers such as blocks, bricks and stones
- Reviewing the work of the construction Crew to determine whether quality standards are being observe
-Developing a plan of work for each site so each project can finish on time
-Informing senior Management about the cost and progress of each project
-Maintaining regular contract with clients
-Managing the budget for each worksite to make sure each project is completed efficiently

Requirements:
- Construction management related qualifications;
- A minimum of three years of local experience working with construction developers, general contractors and sub-contractors;
- Solid understanding of modern construction practices, with a focus on the building envelope;
- Strong computer skills are greatly valued, including proficiency on Office/Project Management software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and AutoCAD;
- Experience with an estimating/management software would be an asset;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to details;
- Ability to work independently and as a team, both in the office and on site;
- Fluent in English, both oral and written;
- A professional attitude, commitment to excellence, strong communicator, organized, detail orientated, and positive team player.
- Must hold a valid BC driver’s license.

Pay: $72,800.00-$83,000.00 per year
