Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive team. The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance while ensuring a positive service experience. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to upsell services effectively. The ideal candidate will have dealership or mechanic experience and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a welcoming environment.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
- Explain recommended repairs and maintenance options clearly, ensuring customer understanding.
- Prepare repair orders, estimate costs, and communicate timelines effectively.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize and schedule repairs efficiently.
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle needs and customer interests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Maintain detailed records of service history and customer interactions.
- Promote dealership services, specials, and warranty programs to maximize sales opportunities.
Experience
- Prior dealership experience or mechanic background is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
- Proven experience in customer service within an automotive setting.
- Ability to upsell services while maintaining integrity and trust with customers.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with cash handling and basic administrative tasks is advantageous.
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes enhances effectiveness in this role.

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
