Kitting and Assembly Supervisor
The Kitting and Assembly Technician supports production by stocking workstations, reviewing work orders, checking inventory, and reporting material shortages while preparing, packaging, and labeling completed kits for use in manufacturing or shipment. This role assembles parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools, reads blueprints and assembly instructions, positions and fastens components, operates measuring instruments, and identifies and reports defects. It also involves assisting with material movement using pallet jacks, maintaining a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures, and performing additional kitting and assembly tasks as required.

Grade 12 Diploma or GED equivalency
-
Combinations of education and experience may also be considered

Forklift certification or experience is considered an asset

Ability to push, pull, lift up to 50lbs regularly

Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, bend, stoop occasionally

Ability to accurately follow product assembly instructions

Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions

Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment
Manufacturing environment which may be hot, cold, dusty, dirty
