Salary: $2,500/month (USD) | Remote | Core Hours approx. 8:30am–4:30pm PT | 7 Weeks Paid Vacation + 5 Weeks Paid Training

Your Role at bina
As a Grade 1–2 Co-Teacher, you will work closely with Lead Teachers to support live, small-group online classes. You’ll help foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive space where young learners can flourish. Alongside teaching, you will assist in developing engaging content tailored to early primary learners and contribute ideas to continually enhance bina’s innovative educational approach — all within core PT hours.

What You’ll Do
- Support Lead Teachers in delivering a personalised, engaging educational experience for Grade 1–2 students
- Help create and adapt curriculum content designed specifically for early primary learners
- Supervise and assist small student groups during live lessons, ensuring all voices are heard
- Cultivate a warm, inclusive learning community for students and families
- Provide timely and thoughtful feedback on student progress
- Participate actively in team meetings and ongoing professional development
- Collaborate on improving bina’s teaching practices and classroom experience
- Use student and peer feedback to refine your teaching strategies
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Experience teaching primary students, especially Grades 1 and 2
- Background in international education (TEFL-only experience is not sufficient)
- Skilled in working with young children in structured educational environments
- Comfortable using digital EdTech tools and eager to learn more
- Strong cultural sensitivity and commitment to diversity and inclusion
- Passion for ongoing professional growth and collaboration
- Native or near-native English proficiency (additional languages a plus)
